E. B. Holmberg & Associates was formed in January 1992 in Chesterfield, Massachusetts. Our second office in Easthampton, Massachusetts was opened in January of 1999. Our offices provide a full range of land surveying services throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. The firm is certified by the State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance as a WBE and as a DBE for the Massachusetts Highway Department. Our clients range from individual landowners to local, state and federal government agencies with the main focus of the firm being the provision of survey and land consultation services to the general public.

Emily B. Holmberg is the president and managing partner of E. B. Holmberg & Associates. She is responsible for strategic planning as well as the day-to-day operation of the firm including overseeing all survey work and purchases. Ms. Holmberg has over fifteen years experience in land surveying and has been a licensed land surveyor in Massachusetts since 1989. She is also licensed in Connecticut and Tennessee. Lawrence Holmberg is the vice president and a partner in E. B. Holmberg & Associates. He is responsible for client communication and coordination of client services. Mr. Holmberg has over twelve years experience in land surveying and has coordinated numerous projects throughout the Massachusetts and Connecticut area.

Who we are:

• Emily and Larry Holmberg formed E. B. Holmberg & Associates in January 1992 in order to provide a full range of land surveying services throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.

• Originally based in Chesterfield, in January of 1999 we opened a second office at 87 Union Street in Easthampton.

Who our clients are:

• Our clients include residential and commercial landowners; local, state and federal government agencies; builders and developers; and other professionals such as attorneys, architects and engineers. The main focus of the firm is the provision of survey and land consultation services to the general public.

The equipment we use:

• Our company is fully computerized in both the field and office.
• In the field, we use electronic total stations with data collectors for the majority of our survey work. We also have Global Positioning Systems (GPS) equipment and software that enhances our ability to serve our clients in many ways.
• In the office, the computations and final plans are done on one of our computer stations and plotted on a Hewlett Packard Inkjet plotter.

• We provide complete land surveying services including municipal mapping, boundary line, topographic, utility and site surveys, historical research, GPS, mortgage loan inspections and ALTA/ACSM Title Insurance Surveys.
